I am a qualified beekeeper who is sharing my passion of bees and biodiversity.

I was lucky enough to be immersed in nature as a child which gave me a love for the environment and biodiversity.

My bee obsession began when I was given a small hive for my 14th birthday. With an oversupply of honey and requests to speak to children about my passion I set up my business, Luke’s Bees. This allowed me to sell honey and present “Bee Incursions” to schools, festivals and community groups. In 2021, I relaunched my business as Buzz Ed Australia.

My goal is to share my knowledge and inspire others - bee education is essential for understanding the important link between bees and our sustainable future. I also promote the Primary Industries as a future pathway to senior school students.

One-third of the world's food supply relies on bees to pollinate our food. To help our bees we need to create habitats to support our natural ecosystems. Build community and backyard bee habitats, provide water and food sources, and eliminate chemical use. Together we can make a difference for our bees!

I am a commercial beekeeper who is registered with the Department of Agriculture and have a registered Food Business. I have completed my Certificate III in Beekeeping and Certificate III in Business.

I have been lucky enough to be interviewed about my bee journey and have appeared in the ABC News, Gardening Australia, The West Australian, Community Newspapers and Local Radio.
