Hi I’m Luke,

I am a new generation of apiarist who is sharing my passion for bees and biodiversity. In 2020, I proudly won the Beazley Medal VET and the Australian Meeting of Young Beekeepers.

 
 
 

I inspire children to be more aware of the importance of Bees.

It was great to have Luke from BUZZ Ed come out to talk to our Year 9 students. His talk tied in directly with our topic of food security and the importance of bees to the ecosystem. It was also interesting to hear about how Luke established his business, at such a young age, through following a VET and GENERAL pathway. Luke is a very engaging and relateable speaker and the students had a lot of questions about the different types of bees, their stingers, life cycle and the impact they have on the environment.
